		<description>I am installating on VPS CentOS 5.3 and I use HyperVm. I am having problem installing Asterisk using above method. It does does through some process but give me this erro at the end. And when I try to start using &quot;amportal start&quot; it say this: FATAL: can not find freepbx_engine to start Asterisk

where 101 is your VM ID, then disable udev. udev gets updated/installed after a yum update which causes this issue, edit;

Comment/remove the line;

After installing i got a TTY problem. 

To solve it and make Asterisk start just edit /usr/sbin/safe_asterisk and comment out the TTY= line
